Couples getaway, lovely stay
Had a relaxing overnight stay, the atmosphere felt lovely and we even got to enjoy the grounds and friendly staff. Dinner was excellent, reminded me of when I cooked for my family.
It wasn't inexpensive, but honestly, it was tolerable.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the lovely massage I had in the spa and the refreshing time I spent in the pool. The spa and sauna were super relaxing spots to unwind after a long day. Just a heads up, the signs for the gym could be a bit clearer, but overall, I had a great time! 😊

The historical charm of the hotel was enchanting.
The staff's responsiveness was noticeably lacking during peak hours.

missingWrote a review on Jul 11comfortable bedfriendly staffrude servicecold roomslow service
The bed in the Standard Double Room was exceptionally comfortable, contributing to a restful stay. The restaurant staff stood out for their friendliness. the initial check-in experience was undermined by a rude night porter, and the attic room was uncomfortably cold and cramped, lacking proper heating. While the breakfast was delicious, these negative aspects overshadowed the positives of our visit.

Great stay with stunning grounds
Awesome hotel in a fab location! We chilled in a lovely feature room with a huge bath. The breakfast was yum, especially the veg sausages. Only downside was the slow shower, never got hot. The staff were super friendly, making my birthday special with a custom dish for dinner. Would def come back!

Dinner was exceptional with splendid evening meals that still dance in my memory. The historical building adds a unique charm, and it's situated in stunning grounds that make it a lovely spot for a stay.
The spa closing at 6pm was a right bummer, especially with no opportunity to soak after check-in. And the slow reception staff? Just felt like a miss for a place with such potential.
