Lovely quiet location good food accomodation in the coachmans cottage extremely comfortable
The location and access to a lovely coastal area of England.
We have no complaints what so ever. The hotel standards and service exceeded our expectations.
Just having a break away from stresses at home
a lovely all round stay i found nothing at all to complain about
Location was great for BT site, food was excellenet and staff where very frendly.
Lovely building, gardens and pool, but hotel rooms now very dated and in dire need of modernisation. Bar and reception all needs bringing into this century. If our 'superior double' was a superior room, I would be very worried about what a standard room might look like. In summary, a fantastic building, memorable place to see and stay but really also in need of some interior investment. At the discount rate we had from Booked.net, it was well worth the stay. Friendly and we would stay again, but not at full room rates.
Shower was very poor on pressure. Room was small.
very relaxing atmosphere, excellant food and very attentive staff
Very welcoming and relaxing stay. Beautiful warm pool and lovely gardens. Superb food and pleasant and helpful staff.
the setting was beautiful for the wedding I attended
* Very friendly reception and housekeeping staff. * Nice folllow up call after on-line booking. Proactively concerned that the attic rooms we booked were OK for us. * Despte height restricitons room very pleasant and well provided. * Lovely setting and gardens and beautiful building. * Excellent food both in Restaurant and Courtyard.
* Abba tapes in the dining room - ugh! * Dining room staff a little too functional and while efficent not very friendly. * Pillows like flat sheets of rubber! Not comfy.
It was quiet- apart from hearing the couple above our room snoring heavily. Nit the hotel's fault. The hotel has lovely lounges and seating areas inside and out so plenty space to read and relax.
It was a nice stay and we would go again
The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very pretty.
We arrived Friday evening and were warmly greeted by receptionist and our luggage delivered to our room by John (a perfect gentleman) who showed us the main features. The room was clean and perfect for us. The bar area is a little "snug" but the waiting staff all so helpful and adept. The food in the restaurant well presented and the plates hot. To sum up: A beautiful hotel with excellent staff in a great location. I am already recommending Seckford Hall to friends and family.
The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and our room had wonderful views over the gardens and courtyard. The staff were warm and friendly and the swimming pool was a pleasure to spend time in. In the evening we ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.
I was very disappointed with the state of the pool and gym facilities, the changing rooms are out of date and the rooms lack class. It was very expensive, i do not mind paying this amount of money as long as the standard of the hotel is high. I was not impressed.
